Cancer registries map
In Italy more than 20 million citizens (40% of the population) live in areas covered by AIRTUM accredited cancer registries. The population covered by a registry varies from regional or near-regional size (Umbria and Veneto, respectively) to provinces or individual cities (such as Turin). By clicking on the coverage map one is able to view details (only in Italian 
) of individual registries. The periods of registration and the numbers of cases supplied to the national database (up to 2011) are indicated in the cartogram. If you are interested in the list of registries go here.
